Countersigned sets no cookies, asks for no personal data and requires no account. There is no consent banner, because nothing on this site follows a reader to any other website.
Since 11 September 2026 the site counts how many people read it, using Cloudflare Web Analytics. That measurement records the page opened, the page a reader arrived from, the time, the country, the browser and device type, and how quickly the page loaded. It uses no cookies, no advertising identifiers and no fingerprinting, and it builds no profile of any individual. The publisher sees aggregate counts only, never a list of readers.
Countersigned is hosted by Cloudflare, which handles every request in order to deliver the site and to keep it available against automated abuse. Delivering a page necessarily involves the visitor’s internet address, which Cloudflare processes for that purpose. Countersigned itself has no access to the addresses of its readers.
Nothing is loaded from advertisers, social networks or third-party font services. No reader data is sold, shared or used to target anyone.
Messages sent to corrections@countersigned.org are read by the publisher and kept only as long as answering them requires. Questions about this page can go to the same address.
